Re-Interrogation: Not Happening
Robin Holloway reports that Karin Janssen stated that the suspects could not be re-interrogated, because the judge released them with prejudice. The term "prejudice" in legal language means that the defendant cannot be brought in for questioning in the future (or charge with a similar charge in the future). Joran van der Sloot's attorney, Antonio Carlo has confirmed this situation in the case. Antonio mentioned that yesterday he received an invitation from the prosecutor for Joran to come in, voluntarily, for questioning. He stated that he has not acted on the letter. (Source)

Advice Of 2005: No Body, No Case
Paul van der Sloot, a judge in training in Aruba, gave his 17-year-old son Joran van der Sloot and two Surinamese brothers legal advice the day after 18-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared (AP) No truer words have ever been spoken.

Most people have convicted Joran in this case. Is he guilty? We really won't know until, if they charge, number one and if they put the evidence on and it shows beyond a reasonable doubt, which is the same burden that we have here in the states. " - Defense Attorney Michael Cardoza

"I don’t think lying is a crime. Lying is probably not ethical, but it is not a crime. If you interfere with a police investigation it is still not a crime.....

"...I did not talk to the interrogators, I just sat there and looked at them
and they basically just kept asking me questions." - Joran Van Der Sloot

Sprinting From Hard Questions...

"oh, hello! There is the judge right there, at least his back end, as he is running - hello, marathon runner - sprinting away from hard questions. Why are you running? I`d like to ask him that myself " - Nancy Grace

"Either she's an excellent actress or she's in complete and total denial. And I might go with total denial because here is a 17-year-old male that is at Carlos n' Charlie's buying alcoholic drinks for their patrons. And here is a young 17-year-old male who's seated at a Texas hold'em table that I see on video footage myself. And here's a 17-year-old male seated at a poker table with his father in a tournament. I mean, you know -- and he's out until 3:00 a.m.? How many night as week can a 17-year-old male be out running the streets at 3:00 a.m. and the father say that he sneaked out." - Beth Holloway Twitty

"Nancy's remarks really hurt the people of Aruba. And you have to understand, we are a small community. All the resources that we have, have been allocated into this case, and then to be badgered like this, it just hurts people here." - Arlene Ellis-Schipper

Joran: I Would Sue Dr.Phil
Speaking to Diario Newspapers, Joran Van Der Sloot said he would have sued Dr. Phil for damages had he been in Deepak's position. Joran, who has been carrying a low profile since returning to Aruba for Christmas, told Diaro's Giovanni Lane that he enjoyed spending christmas with his family and believes the Aruban boycott is unjustified. Sources say Joran has been offered protection by the Government of Aruba to ensure his safety on the island. It is still unclear if Joran has kissed and made up with the Kalpoe Brothers, Deepak and Satish.

Goedemorgen Aruba...
Attention, Attention. This is a message for the female section of our overseas readers. Buy enough BrEezErs (ie. Bacardi Breezers) for 14 days and stay indoors. Close your doors and windows and turn off the radio and tv. If you unwisely choose to go outside, do NOT go to the Casino, do NOT go to Carlos and Charlie's, and do not approach the beach. GeenStijl Intel has information that Joran van der Sloot has come again to cheer up one happy island with his presence. It appears that criminals always return to the Scene of the Crime. So ladies. You have been warned. If you survive the two dark weeks of winter and "only" get raped, then you've had bad luck. Because these days, men get away with that too. (

The Last Night Of Fun
This 'poem' was posted (by unknown poster) on Joran Van Der Sloot's Zorpia.

T’was the last night of fun,
Which those teens would recall,
The setting of the sun,
A new life in the fall.

New people she met
Her world seemed all right.
Just one last ‘hurrah’
At the end of the night.

“We’ll go see the lighthouse,
We’ll walk on the beach”
They drove out of sight,
She’s no longer in reach…

A parent’s worst nightmare,
A trip into hell,
The Dutchmen are thinking,
A story to tell.

From the Vandersloot house
There arose such a clatter
Paul couldn’t stop sweating
He KNEW what was the matter!

When what to his wondering eyes
did appear
A van full of rebels,
“Oh $h*t, they’re here!!”

From the top of the landfill
To the bottom of the sea
“Pretend that we’re searching,
Then charge them a fee.”

Joran sits alone,
in a jail for the summer
He cries to the judge
"why my life such a bummer?"

"so sorry" says Judge,
“for all of your strife.”
“Now fly off to Holland,
get on with your life!

Joran speaks on camera,
He has nothing to fear.
He talks all he wants,
His Daddy is near!

Karin Jannsen is dim,
Gives blondes a bad name
Won’t talk to Beth,
Gives Aruba much shame.

“We do not search houses,
That’s the cowboy way,
But if you are a black man,
Well, then it’s OK.”

Arlene has a fit
for the boycott we’re seeking.
You can’t produce Natalee,
So stop your shrieking!!

Chief Dompig announces
who is to blame
Through ‘Vanity Fair’,
he calls them by name,

It’s Beth and it’s Greta,and it’s Robin and Dave,
Remember,we have our tourism to save.

It’s Phil, and Jamie, and that Nancy Grace,
You know how we hate having her in our face!

Aruban Blame Game
Gerold Dompig, the Aruban deputy police chief in charge of the case of Natalee Holloway's disappearance, discusses the case in detail for the first time, telling Vanity Fair special correspondent Bryan Burrough that the biggest obstacles to finding Holloway have been her mother and stepfather, Beth and Jug Twitty. (Read More)

"You know what? Another thing, all this speculation that Natalee drank, that she did drugs, that she slept around, Even if it were true, why would that even be an issue? Even if it were true, why is everybody piling on an 18-year-old missing girl?" Nancy Grace

"The same thing happens when you have a regular rape case in a courtroom. All of a sudden, it‘s the rape victim‘s fault that the rape was committed. And that‘s basically what they‘re saying: We screwed up, but it wasn‘t our fault. It‘s disgraceful. It‘s disgusting." Stacey Honowitz, Florida Assistant State Attorney

"The leader investigator—slandering Natalee kind of makes me wonder how seriously did they take this case in the first place?" -Candice DeLong, Former FBI Profiler

Steve Cohen: Aruban Spokesperson
Consensus was reached with Aruba Tourism Authority that also helped in the intents, to appoint Steve Cohen to do the job. Both organizations found Steve Cohen to be the adequate person in the position. Cohen is already much involved in the case and has already been advising the Government. He has been doing a great job behind the curtains, according to Pesquera.

Joe Mammana: Take Out Your Trash
They started it. They had a chance to finish it. They didn‘t, so we‘re going to finish it. We want Natalee Holloway back. We want these pieces of trash that did something to her, who admitted it on a thousand other tapes that you people have that we have seen around the world, we want you to go and do something, take care of this or take out your trash. Do something. Give her back to us, dead or alive. Bring her back to America where she belongs. She is one of us.
